Memorial Health Partners (MHP)
Through our partnership with Memorial Health Partners (MHP), Coastal Health Plans connects members to a high-performing, local healthcare network of over 1,500 clinicians and 16 hospitals across Southeast Georgia and South Carolina. This regional focus ensures high-quality, coordinated care that enhances patient outcomes and fosters personalized healthcare experiences. By emphasizing collaboration and data-driven improvements, MHP strengthens patient-provider relationships, offering a cost-effective alternative to expansive traditional insurer networks.

MHP is connected with Memorial Health, anchored by Memorial Health University Medical Center (MHUMC), a 711-bed teaching hospital recognized as a regional leader in specialized care. MHUMC houses the area’s only Level I trauma center, Level III NICU, comprehensive stroke center, and a dedicated pediatric hospital, the Memorial Health Dwaine and Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital of Savannah. It also serves as a referral hub for advanced services such as heart care, cancer treatment, and care for high-risk pregnancies and newborns.
